Each stall in our climate-controlled kennel offers indoor/outdoor space and bedding. We also have fans and a water system.

Room to roam.

Playtime and walks are our favorite part! We walk our furry guests outside on our 22-acre property, play with balls or enjoy a game of tug-of-war!

Daily updates.

We offer daily check-ins featuring a picture of your dog and a short description of how their day went. We can also arrange video calls!

Feeding.

We’ll make sure your dog gets the food and water they need. For a small fee we can provide food, but most owners bring their own food.

Note: We are a small facility and are unable to accommodate aggressive dogs or dogs with behavioral issues. All guests must be friendly and able to pass a temperament test for the safety of the facility. Proof of vaccinations are also required for boarding.

We were very worried that my 2 year old pit bull would have an issue being around several other dogs and not use to being away from me or our house. But we were able to take her and another dog down for a day visit to see if she could handle it. During the day we received pictures and information on how she was doing. We were told she was going to be ok and that she was welcome to come down for the week. A few weeks later we left them for the week and received daily pictures and progress reports on how they were doing from the staff. The dogs were treated like their own pets. We will be using Liberty Acres dog Lodge again in the future. Knowledgeable and experienced staff and excellent facilities.

We boarded our two border collies with Liberty Acres and we loved the daily pictures of our pups! They took such great care of our fur babies! We highly recommend this place if you’re needing a local, not too busy dog boarding facility. Welcome to Liberty Acres! We are so excited to spend time with your dogs.

We provide a peaceful retreat for your best friend, so you can enjoy peace of mind on your vacation. Located on 22 acres in South Cleveland, there’s plenty of outdoor fun for your dogs. We have a newly renovated kennel building and are actively working on construction of an additional dog park area!

Liberty Acres Dog Lodge is a family run, certified Fear Free dog boarding facility with caring staff on site 24/7. Our owner, Liana, is a certified R+ Positive Reinforcement Dog Trainer. The kennel, which contains 12 climate controlled rooms, is located on a beautiful 22 acre farm style property where Liana and her family conveniently have their personal residence located within ear-shot of where the dogs are lodged. 
 
Liana spent 8 years working in Law Enforcement- 5 of which were as a sworn deputy and also possesses experience with an in-home pet sitting business and being a main volunteer for a pet rescue organization. 
 
In 2024, Liana found a blessing of being able to occupy the property in which the kennel is located on and moved forward with the creation of Liberty Acres Dog Lodge. Liana added renovations to the kennel including additional security fencing and various interior improvements. At the same time the opening of the facility was in the works, Liana enrolled in the CATCH canine trainers academy, which included 10 phases of in depth bookwork followed by an in person apprenticeship with a local credentialed trainer and multiple exams. She graduated the program with an overall score of 89%! This has benefited Liberty Acres Dog Lodge by ensuring the best understanding of the dogs housed here, their behaviors and the ability to manage them in the most humane fashion- NEVER using e-devices, squirt bottles, prong collars, physical force or any other technique/tool that would cause stress to a dog. 
 
Liberty Acres Dog Lodge takes pride in their individualized approach with each dog and the practice of getting to know the clients on a personal level to build trust and long lasting relationships- leading to a high rate of return guests.
