Whether it’s a short visit or an extended stay, we’d love to care for your dog while you’re gone.
In a world of easy transit and inexpensive traveling, why does it have to be so hard to find a good home for your dog while you’re away?
We give all our canine guests plenty of playtime and attention.
Our 22-acre farm is the perfect place for your dog to get exercise.
We have a small outdoor/indoor facility limited to 12-18 dogs.
You are one of a kind! I am so grateful for the time you took care of our pets. I was able to get away and NOT stress. Thank you so much for loving our animals!
There’s a small chance your dog may not want to leave! 😉
Each stall in our climate-controlled kennel offers indoor/outdoor space and bedding. We also have fans and a water system.
Playtime and walks are our favorite part! We walk our furry guests outside on our 22-acre property, play with balls or enjoy a game of tug-of-war!
We’ll make sure your dog gets the food and water they need. For a small fee we can provide food, but most owners bring their own food.
Send us a message, and we’ll set up an initial call or in-person meeting.
We’ll advise if this is a good option for your dog. There is a deposit for booking your days.
Bring your dog for their stay! Don’t forget any medications, food, and any special instructions.
I’m so grateful to have found you and your services and although you will be missed, I wish you all the luck on your new journey. We’ll cheer you on from Florence and be on the look out for what you have in store. You’re such an incredible person.
We provide a peaceful retreat for your best friend, so you can enjoy peace of mind on your vacation. Located on 22 acres in South Cleveland, there’s plenty of outdoor fun for your dogs. We have a newly renovated kennel building and are actively working on construction of an additional dog park area!
Hi everyone!
My name is Liana and I am the owner of Liberty Acres Dog Lodge. I would like to spend some time introducing myself, because I believe you should know exactly WHO you are leaving your dogs with! Not only am I business owner, but I am also a homeschool mom, former Law Enforcement Officer, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Blue Belt, beginning homesteader, volunteer throughout the animal rescue community and a community squad leader for a nationwide women’s emergency preparedness group. I was blessed to gain employment as a Corrections Deputy for the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office from 2016 through 2021 where I met my husband.
After the disruptions caused by the pandemic in 2020, my son needed me around more, so my husband retired early, and I left my job with the sheriff’s department, and we re-located to Arizona, where I took a civilian job in the public service sector that allowed me “normal” working hours to be around more. During this time, I also got involved in animal rescue, as I saw the crisis of homeless pets within the Phoenix Metro Area.
Inflation hit our family hard in 2022. I wanted to find a flexible option for secondary income, so I quickly combined my experiences and passions and launched my own pet sitting side hustle, called Loved by Liana Pet Sitting—a drop in pet sitting service. I could not believe how quickly my inquiries and bookings grew! People liked that I had respectable work experience and a good reputation within the public service community and that I was a trustworthy and honest candidate for care of their pets. Many clients told me they felt like they finally did not have to worry about their dogs while they were away. I truly enjoyed provided these services and realized the need for quality pet care providers.
In 2023, I began to realize that working two jobs was not sustainable long term, I also began to get overwhelmed living in the crowded in the Phoenix Metro Area. My husband and I began to brainstorm changes we could make to our lifestyle to accommodate 1) a slower paced/less hectic living environment, 2) the ability for me to be around for family more, 3) how I could continue to live out my passion for spending time with animals and animal rescue. That is when we found the opportunity of Liberty Acres.
During my time as a Corrections Deputy, I managed housing units of up to 200 inmates of all classification levels, and held special assignments such as working in the intake unit and transportation unit, as well as serving as a training officer for new recruits. My training and duties from my position taught me numerous emergency response skills, crisis intervention techniques, as well as communication and management skills. My time in animal rescue has helped me gain experience in how to work with animals in various situations. Working as a pet sitter has also helped me grow in my time management skills as well as added to my experience around various animals. I believe that all of my work/volunteer experience has ultimately led me to be successful in this “business.” I put that word in quotations, because I do not see Liberty Acres as a business, I see it as a passion and dream come to life.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and I look forward to getting to know your dogs!
